of course will smith gets more cred because he's been doing it longer, but compare it someone like marky mark, another rapper turned actor
and you see will smith's deficiencies.

its funny because will smith - summertime, gettin jiggy with it, Men in black theme song, miami, parents just dont understand, just the 2 of us, big willie style, even the fresh prince theme song - are technically more successful and worldwide recognized more than LL but that doesnt mean the "gap" is close just like the acting gap is nowhere close

Another thing that I noticed with you ninjahood, you seem to point to a certain artist or actor having money as a means to highlight them or as an attempt to add more credit to your original point. Not saying that money isn't important, because it is but I have noticed that argument from you, case in point with two of your quotes above. Just wanted to state that for you and some of the other Jay Z detractors that seem to think that some of the Jay Z fans have him as the best because of his money or that Jay Z fans point to him having as much money as he does as a testament to him being the best when really most if not all of the Jay Z fans on here don't even mention his money for the reasoning of him being the best in their eyes. Yet another flaw in your thought process champ.

LL was Definetely a Force from 85 to 02... but from 85-92 would be the only way i could say he dominated.... after 92 the climate Of hiphop changed and while people were damn still bumpin LL, his music was not Talked about on that classic level such as Nas, Biggie, WU etc after that year. He was absolutely relevant but his MUSIC was no where near the top of the game and was no longer in that discussion.
