That doesn't qualify at all - you could easily meet up an hour from you and have dinner or something - weekly.

We were 2 plane rides (at about $1000 and 18 hours apart) for 3 years. Email was a bit rare at the beginning and long distance phonecalls were extortionate - no skype or anything - but if you are committed to each other it's tough but by no means difficult.

We've been married for 13 years this summer if that matters.

Props to you sir.I failed miserably, homegirl lived in west palm and I was in NY...sparks flew while I was going through a rough patch with my current wife about 3 years ago...we dated for about 4 months, I made one trip to Florida, she made two up to NY, at first it was cool but then reality set in and I realized how stupid this was, she started acting out and I said %*@# it. OP watch "Going the distance" good movie for those that have gone through the long distance thing....I think patience and trust are the most important factors In order to make it work.
