I was working at Footlocker as an assistant manager back then, and I got 1st dibs at all those. I copped the all black XVII's, The wht/blk IX's, Ireturned a pair of DS True Blue III's for the the wht/french blue/flint gray IX's

, love that colorway but not worth my III's, also got the cool grayIX's and the all black low top VI's. I ended up trading the all black XVII's for some pearl white foams, but I wished I had gotten thewhite/blue/black XVII's. It was a pretty good year though

i'm kinda glad i wasn't into jordans then, if i still had em they wouldn't fit

i was into iversons at that point. those didn't have an ounce of longevity
