man i thought about this last night and was wondering what it could be that people don't see certain things that are so black and white....
and i came to the conclusion that people are so busy, so distracted, and so numb to the rest of the world that these things no longer even matter to them...
all these police apologists who are black just don't care unless reality his them....and that is what it is...unless it directly affects them some how, these type of things don't matter to them...
we live in an ADD culture...this topic and story will be on the 7th page next week around this time and will be totally forgotten...we consume so much knowledge so fast that anything that doesn't affect us DIRECTLY is not processed and just stored somewhere in the brain...
internet, television, and all the other distractions in life cause this and life moves so fast we don't even know how to slow it down...weeks fly by, months fly by, years fly like minutes, and eventually no change is made because nothing is processed through the brain that is important...
its sad, before all these distractions certain people would stand up and fight for something until change was finally made, they would make one thing their life's purpose and fight, not temporary show anger and move on (im guilty of this too)....
its very hard to care about things that don't affect us personally, but at the least we should be cognizance of what is going on and not numb to life's issues, which is what those in power are banking on to maintain status quo
