He feels the need to protect his name, because, you know, apparently there are still 2 or 3 people left on Earth who DON'T know that when it comes to sportswear, MJ deals exclusively with Nike.
Not that I condone ripping off intellectual property, because I don't. But all these years later, knowing as an adult what kind of person MJ truly seems to be (after a childhood spent looking up to him), it makes me smile inside a little these days when I see things that give him fits.
