Almost scary in a way. If this happens this will seriously limit creative thought. People will become so lazy. Information at our fingertips limits discovery.

True , charging my wallet wont be cool.

To me all that stuff didnt look too crazy/outlandish. It seems like they plan to really use that surface technology or w/e in alot of devices though.

This aint the mf'ing jetsons.

As with flying cars... I'll believe it when I see it.

Thats cool, but the technology I hope I live to see is teleportation. Instant trips around the world, no gas, no traffic

Whoever invents it will be the richest person ever.

That's physically/scientifically/all other kinds of ically impossible.

- im an electronics technician. what consumers havent figured out yet is we are entering a stage in where tech inventions/innovations are going to start comingat an exponential rate. what i mean by that is, we all understand how exponents work right? and how at first they move slow but once the numbers start to pickup steam they leap frog way past their past numbers.
- well, now that the infrastructure has been laid to allow people to send pictures/audio/video with phones, and send files at an excess of 300MB+ through theinternet like it's nothing. add to that all the FiOs that has been laid. it makes it all that much easier for technologies (like these)to be brought to theconsumer.

- that interactive tablet? i dont know if alot of you remember but sony had a developers page with something highly similar, around 3+ years ago. point beingif Sony developed something similar that long ago, that means the technology is here and has been developed way past just the video posted on the first page.that tablet is just around the corner mark my words. it'll be here....a whole lot sooner than people think, i say 5 years.

Doubt it, some of it doesnt even make sense to do...like the newspaper for example overkill

I didnt even finish watching it. We wont see things like that for a VERY long time. Our kids will have those gadgets when they are our parents age. Real talk.

- i remember what hard drive prices were just over a year ago, you paid what close to $200 for less than 300GB? now look at them. you can get a damn Terabytefor under $200.

- thing is what holds technology back from being in consumers hands is the consumer. the developers have it years in advance, it just costs too much for theconsumer. but the faster we adopt something, the more we want it, the cheaper it becomes for us. you may find it funny but all this porn and music peopledownload, pictures people just have to send (to blogs, myspace, and other people through phones/text) have made the demand higher for enough infrastructure tobe able to send all those 1's and 0's. the bigger they make the pipes to send all this BS the easier and cheaper they can bring us stuff like this.

- me being in electronics for so long ive been waiting for this day for a long time. it wasnt until i saw the price of hard drives fall so low that i knewthose days were finally here. im just glad people are finally adopting alot of these new technologies. but what i wish more is for consumers to educatethemselves more on what it is they are using. i mean, if i come across another person thats on myspace/facebook/twitter ALL DAY, but cant locate documents, pictures, or music on their own computer im going to scream.
