I used to replicate Danny Tartabull's batting stance when I played in Little League. He always looked like he was about to murder a ball. Thehunched back, high leg kick, and that wind-up swing. One of my favs.

Some other stances I messed around with:
Ron Gant
Carney Lansford

griffey, sheffield, bonds

copied them when i was younger

anyone remember mickey tettleton, he would lay the bat on the side of his hip

how about jeff bagwell and his open stance

We all used to imitate that stance whenver me and my buddies hit the cages.

Joe Morgan had a batting stance like his was making his armpits fart.

Anybody from the ages of 16-25 on here when they were younger..

- Tried hitting lefty, with that upright stance and the bat waggling and trying to hit one and proceed to walk and watch the ball go. (But was successful at 1outa 50 times)

JR is the GOAT

I was a switch hitter when I played, so lefty I felt more comfortable with the Justice stance...

And righty I had a hybrid Julio Franco stance

You ever notice how everyone has all these tics while waiting for the pitch, but once the pitch is on the way towards home plate, everyone tightens up toalmost the exact same stance?

Edit: I can't find a picture of his stance, but I can find plenty of his swing.

Ken Griffey Jr; his swing is too pretty

all jokes aside...there are no sweeter swings than Griffey & Palmeiro...

Sheffield, while I don't think he has the nicest swing in the world, you'd be hard pressed to find ANYONE in the history of MLB with quicker wrists...

I can't find a picture of Fred McGriff's stance...somebody help me out.
