this pre-illmatic nas demo is different than ones that have been out previously. others have mostly been demos of songs that eventually made it to illmatic either w/ different beats or changed rhymes/choruses. some of these have been heard before but its interesting to hear pre illmatic nas pure and uncut w/o the primo, pete rock or large professor beats, influence or guidance.
