I watched him play football at UW. He SUCKED at cornerback lol. I don't even care if he was a freshman, dude got torched all season long. Even Husky fans were happy he just stuck with basketball. I was surprised they never tried him out at tailback. He seemed more suited for that, but maybe because he was going to play basketball he didn't want to play a more punishing position.
People hype him up because of one play: his interception against a 6'6" receiver in the 2002 Apple Cup. What people conveniently forget about that play is that it came on an under thrown ball by a backup QB who was thrown into a close game in the 4th after the starter suffered a high ankle sprain. It was about 20-25 degrees and the backup came in cold, having not played the entire season.
He has NO shot at the NFL. None.

I tried to tell people a few years ago Nate sucked and people were like "nuh uh, he made freshman all conference"
Dude he was Bad.
Good luck to him tho *salute*
Can't lie I really did not know this.
He's more or less from North Oakland and when he was playing as a freshman at UDub it was more just like damn you see that boy Nate.
Most people weren't watching the games cause they weren't televised down here.
