And their front 7 makes the entire secondary's job easier.
What QB would throw to Sherman/Thomas side of the field? Of course you going to the other side.
You guys miss the entire point
I never said he wasn't good, but he is not God status on the field either. He is not miles ahead of the rest of the DBs out there. He is a product of a good system/scheme and the rest of the pieces around him are top tier as well, so you cannot give all the credit of that defense solely to him. Take Thomas and Chancellor out that secondary....is he still doing what he does now without them?
#1 I'm not a kid, so can cool it with thatLmao you having a tough day, kid? My fam has had season tickets since day 1 so yeah I have been going to games my whole life. What this has to do with Sherman, I would love to know
I am not saying that, but when you start comparing him to GOATs at the position, then the comparisons will start.there's no way of knowing. for all we know he could be just as good individually, obviously the defense of a whole would be worse off without kam and earl. i never understood why people discredit players for having good team mates. like...you want sherm to tell them to sit out a few games to prove a point to the haters?
This is all I am saying. You the best but don't even cover the best player at least 50% of the time?Sherman plays left cornerback almost exclusively, so he covered No. 1 receivers just 27 percent of the time.
Revis shadowed No. 1 receivers 49 percent of the time. In Week 12, he held Calvin Johnson to three catches and 44 scoreless yards.

If I know you staying on 1 side of the field, I am just designing my plays to purposely leave you over there by yourself and not worry about you.
Some people on here will say that he is so good that OC design plays to go away from him.
Others on here will say that he stays on 1 side, so just let my best players cook on the side he isn't on.

Who compared him? Dude posted a ttweet saying Sherman was having the best season since prime. Using facts. You want to use hypotheticals

The tweet was in reference to having the best season since Sanders in that particular statistical category (which phrased like that is a fact)
Yes, best pass defense as a team. Again like I said, he is on a great defense, so you cannot say the numbers he is putting up are all on him. When you on a defense like he is, your numbers are supposed to be good.except no one's cookin the seattle secondary. i could see your point if receivers were going off consistently against seattle and sherm was staying on one side. but maxwell, simon, and lane are good cbs too plus we still have kam and earl.
say what you want but you can't argue with the results. number 1 pass defense.
You just answered your own question. I said he is not as good as Prime was and has a great team and system in place around him so, TO ME / MY OPINION, was that you cannot compare the 2, especially when Prime took on the task of shutting out the other team's best player constantly.Who compared him? I mean isn't that basically what I said?
Nobody said they would take him over Prime. That didnt work out for Aaron Rodgers. That's exactly what he did when they played.
Im confused though, who the H said they'd take Sherman over Dieon?
This is how I read it and all I was trying to sayYou made it seem that he is having the best season for any corner since Dieon. That is a very subjective statement. If you weren't inferring that then my mistake
