Is it not part of the equation? How many times did you see designed sweep runs for Hoyer and Shaw? Yet the play Manziel gets hurt on is a sweep where he gets hit by keuchly. Has he been good? Nope. Has it been as bad as people have made it out to be? Nope.

It's easy to say they should've have drafted Carr or bridge when those guys were given legit opportunities for multiple games. You're comparing way too small of a sample size to make an accurate judgement imo.

it's amazing that the Chiefs had no WR TD's this year; has that ever happened before?
Yep....back in 1964.

You can't judge any player off 6 quarters of football.

In Manziel's first start, he was ****** from the get go by falling behind early. I mean it doesn't soley fall on the coaches, but he was not in a situation to succeed with a horrible offensive line and the play calling.

Completely agree with DWS that they need to stop calling plays based off his running ability. Just let it come naturally.

so just take away his ability to run and make Manziel a pocket passer? that will work out well

but at least he has proven he is putting in the work to succeed

St. Louis needs to go up by 14 points, then fill the box and spy Russ with Ogletree. Homefield x bye for the Cowboys :pimp:

He was much better throwing from the pocket in college than most people want to give him credit for.

You don't take away his running ability, but they need to let it come naturally. The Browns were not putting him in a situation to be successful with their play calling.
