Its the back half of the sneaker that’s throwing me. Too flat / square like a skate sneaker (as was mentioned very Koston like). Will still like to see in person. Hoping the forefoot has decent cushioning but given the price point it might be minimal.

Really cool to see so many fans of the model though.

Yeah I'll admit they couldve done a better job here. A lot of this is definitely just them being new, in terms of looks. They're too basic, looks-wise. Hope they're performers. Simple is one thing, basic is another. These are kinda basic when you look close. Still could be great shoes though. Freak 1s had the gigantic swoosh but were otherwise pretty basic, and those were great. Are great.

Midsole kinda reminds me of the Air Trainer 1s…but these are definitely a cop on first day. Considering that Ja is a player with a lot of personality I expect the colorways to be fun.
