I am not telling people to masturbate, I merely said what happens when you do that.

Self discipline is great and if we all committed to running windsprints every day, or if we read classical literature every day or spent three hours per day in charitable work, great things would be done in the month of May.

The problem with this challenge is that aching testes and the month long suppress of the awesome and simple masculine power of reproduction and the pleasures that accompanies such. You should forgo pleasure in order to improve your future or the future of other people, not satisfy some useless dare.

I've been in this since April 29th and I've noticed I need a lot less sleep. I work at home usually so I can get up whenever I want. I go to a bar every night and have 1 to 3 beers till 2 in the morning I would always get out of bed between 10 and 12. Now I get up at 7 or 8. I have more energy for workouts. I'm WAAY more focused and productive throughout the day. I also don't get tired mid day like I used to. And I feel like my voice is getting a little deeper.

To get through this I've completely (and I think for good) quit porn. I meditate for at least 10  minutes a day and I make sure to exercise at least every other day.

There's a reboot challenge at yourbrainonporn where people are giving up porn, Mental fantasies, masturbation, any form of orgasm and sex for 100 days. The logic behind this is that guys are conditioning themselves to orgasm with porn and its creating a physical change in their brain where they can't do it without it. The 100 day reboot is supposed to weaken those connections in the brain that are the result of an addiction.

This is a pdf that reports the benefits of their reboot.

Cross Country and in track the 800m. Sometimes a leg of the 400m relay when somebody eventually flakes out.
what was your 5k/3mile pr as well as your track times?

dude i hit a mental wall when it came to my 1600 meters. 3rd lap would go by and time said 3:30... Im like, cool, i can hit my last 400 in 1:05 and easily break 5mins... when i crossed the line 5:02

that was my freshman year i never ran track after that but im sure if i did i would have broken 5, but about 4 races i would run 5:03s-08s.

youre pretty fast man but im still bitter about not consistently striking 16s for my 5ks or sub 5s for my miles.

Still in feeling damn good I've noticed that I don't tire as fast when running and working out now.
