***$$$-NT Sportsbook Thread vol.2- Props props props props props props... EVERYBODY!

You're on 5dimes right?

They say teasers aren't smart but one of the best features about 5dimes is that you can keep teasers/parlays open and fill it up with games over time. Not sure how common this feature is amongst sportsbooks but I know there's some that don't allow this.

The NBA is great for this because there's always something close to a lock or two every night or two. So the key is patience.

What I like to do is 10 point teasers. Fill out a 5 team teaser that pays +105 over the span of a few nights. and a bigger one like a 10 team teaser that pays out +335 over like a 2 week span.

Now the season is just starting so its to be assumed some stuff might be whacky. But it wont be long before we figure everyone out and things become more predictable.

But I can't help myself. I'm opening a 10 point 5 team teaser and starting it out with Cavs +.5 and Warriors +1.5 tonight.

Dont do it DSA.  Basketball is BY FAR the worst sport to bet on.  Dont listen to anyone who quotes me and says I am wrong.  I'm not.

Lol to each their own. I have noticed alot of people have different opinions on what they think is the easiest sport or hardest sport to bet on.

Im not necessarily saying NBA is the easiest or anything. I've just had success in the past with that teaser method and being patient with the very few games each night that you're absolutely positive on by gifting some 10 points which is a pretty big margin for the NBA.

Will update throughout the night as I wait for line movement and such.

Posted Record (1-0)

Knicks +10 (bought the hook)

- Doesn't make any sense to even try to touch on X and O's since it's so early in the season. This play is based purely off motivation factor with the ring ceremony, a lot of pressure on the Cavs in front of their home crowd to follow through, Cavs run on the motor of Lebron who typically starts the season with a pretty half-*** effort perhaps to conserve his body for the NBA season grind. No pressure on the Knicks in this spot with a fairly new team and head coach with no real expectations.

Portland/Utah over 192 - Contrary to popular belief, these two teams usually compete in fairly high scoring affairs based off Utah standards. The strength of this Utah defense lies within their interior defense while the strength of this Portland offense is with in their guard play. Utah has struggled to defend Portland in the past due to their high volume use of flare screen/off ball screens forcing Utah's bigs to switch out on to Dame and CJ who have had field days. Utah should be able to generate just enough offense against a portland backcourt who doesn't defend to push this one over the low total.

San Antonio/Golden State under 212 - Expecting some growing pains for the Warriors offense early in season as they get accustomed to each other and not enough offensive firepower from San Antonio for this one to go over. Two great defensive teams.

I'm taking Cavs -5.5 1H

If they start slow which is possible ill take a better full game Cavs line in play.

Ring ceremony opening night games are always weird. But the winning vibes around the city at the moment and seeing how the Cavs are embracing it as a team (via Richard Jeffersons snapchat  ) has me thinking they could come out on a solid note. So yeah, its pure superstition one way or another.

Knicks +9 (L)
Blazers -6 (W)
Spurs +9 (W)
Cubs ML, -1.5, -2.5 (L, L, L)

Took an L today, but Blazers and Spurs came through

I wouldn't say all that. It's very easy to make some decent coin on NBA if you know how to be selective and spot lines that are favorable. Personally I EAT off of player props and first quarter totals.

For example they had Kyrie's total points over/under 21.5 c'mon man [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

Also as a die hard knicks fan I wish I could have made it to this thread sooner and try to have y'all change your minds [emoji]128553[/emoji] I already knew what time it was tonight, took the Cavs.

I'm not expecting any sort of growing pains for GSW... that arena will be ready to explode every few minutes. I say they cover fairly easy tonight. Im taking them -8
