But the media isn't anti-police."Sadly this is porbably gonna be used to push the "war on cops" nonsense even more"Dog, that's what the media does. They sensationalize. WITH LITERALLY ALMOST EVERYTHING. This isn't anything new, so no, there isn't some newfangled war on the police in the media.
My comments were directed at this statement. Of course everything is sensationalized, so the "anti-police" side of things are just as culpable for pushing agendas as the pro-police side.
Yes there is a "newfangled" media war on police. I don't even know how anyone could possibly deny that in the last 3-4 years most of what is seen about the police in the media is about what they do wrong.
Discussing the dirt that cops do/have done and then questioning them when situations arise that appear to have murky details doesn't equate to a war on police. It's simply attempting to hold them accountable, which is something many of them don't like. And btw, the media has almost been forced into covering this **** non-stop because now we often have video proof of cops overstepping their authority. Of course media outlets are going to take it and run with it when there's video of cops murking cats running away from them.
But I digress.....RIP to the cop. I hate to see anyone be the victim of senseless violence.
