Does this include if Paul Pierce is bought out?

Anyway now I'm interested in seeing where P2 and KG land. Boston is supposed to be looking for a young coach, implying they're looking to get rid of the old guns too.

inb4 one of them goes to Danny Ainge with Jason Kidd-level ideas

Antoine Walker already beat them to it.

Im worried for Brain Shaw. This Nuggets roster isn't all that compatible with the triangle
He's not running it.
One thing Shaw will not do, however, is run the Triangle offense, the hallmark of Jackson's teams.

"Of all the years I played, I only played in the Triangle the last four years, and obviously I coached in that system under Phil," Shaw said. "But in all the other years I was exposed to a lot of different systems. So no, I won't be coming in and bringing the Triangle to Denver."

I feel like the commish actually helped the clippers out, why trade your young assets for two players on the decline , if your gonna trade any combination of bledsoe, griffin, jordan, and picks you to get at least one young good player in return

Doc Rivers' compensation agreement states that Celtics and Clippers can't exchange players until the end of the '13-'14 season, source says.
That's maybe the dumbest **** I've ever heard.

If they have a fair deal agreed upon, who cares? Evaluate it on a trade-by-trade basis; don't bring the hammer down on the entire concept.

they said after they tried to get away with trading a coach any deals after the coach deal would seem like any extention of the 1st deal & it wouldnt get approved

I don't think so. Coz technically, it does mean that he's no longer a Celtic once they bring him in. I might be wrong though.

anyone see this??

According to sources, the Bobcats are actively shopping Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and plan on replacing him by drafting Otto Porter at #4.

Apparently, the Bobcats are working under the belief that the Wizards will draft Anthony Bennett at #3.

Interesting. They given up on MKG already?

That's my understanding. If he get's bought out and becomes a FA, he's fair game for the Clippers to sign. The teams just can't trade with each other.

And that... is why I waited to hear the whole Pippen story. Didn't add up. He wasn't going off on dudes when he was playing. Worst thing I seen him do was murder Patrick Ewing on court, but Pat had that coming.

Pippen was well within his right. W/ his daughter in his hand? WELL within his right.

I would be interested in MKG if he could shoot 3s at 35% on volume. Since he can't, I still am lightweight but he'd be a situational and bench player. With so many picks, the Thunder can just draft that need, stash in Tulsa for a yr, and have a Thabo replacement for when his deal is up after this season whether it's a Bullock, KCP, or whoever.

I don't get these teams giving up so early on young players like MKG and T-Rob.

If you had faith to draft them in the lottery, support it with patience in the development process.

I hope the Celtics show Paul Pierce some respect and dignity and buy him out instead of sending him to the Bucks or Cavs.

On the flipside, JR Smith should've exercised his option. He ruined his chances at big money late by playing like the player people always saw him as.

Glad Shaw finally got a head coaching job, especially for the Nuggets. I was thinking he was gonna fall into Boston and be left with a mix of an aging and underachieving roster.

Giving up on a guy after his rookie season? :smh:

Bledsoe for Afflalo looks like another deal that might go down on draft night makes sense for both teams

Mkg ceiling is prime artest but i dont see him reaching that since hes limited offensively, just a defensive specialist at best

My man Brain Shaw getting a good team. :pimp:

Report: Assaulted Fan Had Spit On Pippen, Called Him N-Word

A day after TMZ's report that Scottie Pippen had kicked the **** out of an aggressive autograph seeker, Pippen's side of the story is starting to get out.

A source told the New York Daily News the hospitalized autograph hound was not just some harmless fan with benign intentions:

The fan started the tussle, spit on the ex-athlete and screamed the called him the N-word, the source said, adding that Pippen was holding his 4-year-old daughter at the time.

“Can you imagine, you’re out to dinner with your wife, your four kids and your mother-in-law, and someone calls you the N-word and starts to get physical?” the source said, calling the alleged victim’s story a “crock.”

The source further told the Daily News, "When Scottie left, this guy had no injuries." So does that mean someone else beat him up? A spokesman for the sheriff's office also said the unidentified man was described as having been intoxicated. No charges have been filed, and the police investigation is ongoing.

Pippen sent the goons

Dude deserved that whooping.

MKG is functionally sound as a slasher, but the midrange and deep J both need work.

Orlando makes out like bandits if they get Bledsoe for Afflalo.
