i think what would have solidified Lebron to LA would be him wearing a Angels or Dodgers hat

i mean he used to rock Yankees caps all the time and look what happened.

just sayin

LeBron was in la cuz of the espys.
Prolly just chilling until he gotta go back and do more wedding stuff
lookin way into it like Knicks fans did

everyone is clearly joking

sadly, knicks fans were dead serious about it for 2 years.

So Farmar must be a die hard laker fan or something to give up an estimated $5-10m to get out of his turkey contract for a train-wreck of a team with some lofty fantasies for 500k. Damn.

he couldnt miss the chance to not pass to kobe again

If the market for Jennings is really this poor--I see someone getting a great deal for a very talented young PG.  Despite the amount of hate and criticism in this thread, and around the league, I'm sure most can and will acknowledge that the talent and skill-set are there for him...it's the mental aspect of picking his spots of when to attack and when to penetrate to set up teammates for open jumpers that he is severely lacking in.  What Jennings needs more than anything is a team with a good coach and veteran presence in the locker-room.  If he and his agent can bite the bullet this time around, and instead of looking for the biggest contract, look for the biggest opportunity for him to grow mentally as a player as well as a person---his potential as a player and potential for a big payday will sky-rocket

not one is gonna get a good deal.

if someone offers him a cheap contract, Bucks are just gonna match it and save them selves some money

^ No lie dude is talented just he plays like a herb, bad shot selection and poor D

And in that vid i posted i was legit laughing at how many chances he could of went right and scored but used his left instead and missed horribly

brandon jennings is a nut, not a pg.  college is usually where these kinda players get exposed.

Jennings would've probably been drafted higher if he went to college. He went to Europe where most prospects would get burned.

Jennings just isn't as talented as people think and should be put in a smaller role. He can't lead a team or be option 2. When you can't get all the way to the rim or finish in traffic or pass at a very, very high level - you're not a top flight PG.

It's not his fault. It's not cause he's dumb or cocky (although that doesn't help). He's not strong enough to finish at the rim in the NBA and he's not good enough to get all the way to the rim before the help comes. He doesn't have much of a mid-range game and he'd need an elite one due to his weak skills near the rim.

I think Pierce will be fine but I worry that Joe Johnson will happily take that as a chance to disappear.

I just don't think anybody quite understands that all 5 of the Nets starting lineup can shoot the rock at a really high level. The problem with Miami's lineup has been that when teams make them into jump shooters that's when they fall apart. You're gonna have to guard D-Will, JJ, Pierce, Garnett and Lopez 1 on 1 pretty much every time down the floor or have to let one of them get an open shot. Joe Johnson is gonna get a ton of wide open looks with all the talent around him this year. He can go back to his Suns days when he was so good at being like their 4th or 5th option.

What it boils down to right here. At the end of the day, he's a guy who lacks the athleticism (Not necessarily speed, but its the size and weight department) necessary to not only get to the rim, but finish there if he does gets to the cup. He also is an average passer. Combine that with the fact that he's only 6'1 170, you get someone who has to hoist a lot of contested jumpers to even remotely resemble the PG he thinks he is.

Jennings faith in his ability is the only reason why he still puts up decent/"good" numbers. For if he were to only take the good shots that are presented to him, he would literally be a 10 ppg kind of guy. Nothing about his offense comes easy. He can't create enough space for his shot to make up for his lack of size, which makes his shot attempts even tougher. And its not that he's a selfish player, he just has a hard time making the right play after he beats his man and help comes over.

In all honesty, Jennings is probably best suited as a premier back up PG who can change the pace of the game with his shot making ability and speed and quickness. But as a starter, his inability to finish at the rim and make space so that he can create some type of a quality shot for himself/others stops him from being a great pg, let alone elite.

his shot isnt bad, it's his selection. he takes those tough step back/fading away attempts which kills his pct. then again, that's the only way he is gonna get a shot off. unless you are AI, undersized pg is the worst position to have (i know AI was a SG)

For some off reason, Id still take Jennings to the Pistons. Idk why but I would. Think he has talent. I would literally take him for something like a 3 year/5-8mil per

Yeah but see that's the thing, his shot selection is bad, but it has to be if he wants to be a 17-20 ppg. He's too small and lacks enough athleticism to score consistently without shooting those type of shots. If he's trying to create for himself, its more than likely going to result in him trying to shoot over the top of someone rather it be on the perimeter or at the rim. Even when he uses his quickness and speed to beat someone, his size kind of allows people to recover easily and if they don't and meet him at the rim, it's a burnt shot anyway.

And to be fair, he hasn't played with the best of talent thus far in his career either.

Brandon Jennings is exactly what the Pistons need....another point guard, joining Stuckey, Bynum, Billups, and Siva.

we have like 10 PGs

and id rather keep every single one of them over Jennings

This is offtopic, but I was reading a Worldstar comment (yes I'm ashamed lol) and it pointed out something that I had never noticed. Why does ESPN mainly hire women with porn star names?

Hannah Storm, Sage Steel, Cari Champion, Wendi Nix, Reischea Canidate, Heather Cox.

i bet them chicks get hit on all day with all the guys that work at espn. word to steve phillips and his intern
