I mean at least compare them to someone who has a shot in the league, why would anyone take Bryce Petty in the 1st/2nd round if his ceiling is Austin Davis

He already has said multiple times that if you think they are even as prospects then you have to take Mariota b/c of off field concerns. My guess is that he thinks they are even but he can't get passed the int's and the off field concerns automatically propel him over MM8 in his eyes.

Or maybe it's because he was touched to many times by the broom that George Whitfield wielded at him during his pro day
