That would probably be a pay cut for him.
During the height of its expansion evaluation last summer, the Big 12 spoke with the Pac-12 about a scheduling alliance, CBS Sports has learned.

The discussions focused on a scheduling agreement between the two conferences to bolster each league's nonconference schedules in the College Football Playoff era, according to multiple sources.

Any talk of a Pac-12-Big 12 merger during that time "is not accurate," according to Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby.

Alfred Golden was disastrous for Miami as was Randy Shannon and Coker. Hopefully Richt can right the ship.

Eh Clemson made Coker look like Brady out there with all those busts in coverage last year. Hurts will be fine.

Is their secondary that much improved? Are they going to remember to cover the TE? I mean even Lamar who's not deadly accurate and Francois were pretty effective against them. Clemson can win no doubt, but I still think Watson is going to make some crucial mistakes that's ultimately going to cost them.

It's just silly to base your prediction on a close result from a year ago against a different QB.

Some of the same concerns were raised about Coker going into that game and he was fine. And statistically Clemson's pass defense was better last season as well. *Shrugs*

It's just getting started.

Wait until he gets his AJ McCarron "is this the greatest college QB of all time" magazine cover next week.
