I count 16 Canadian players and one American. Vancouver foolishly had 5 American born players, and we all know how American players do under pressure.

Does that make sense? Not entirely, but neither does posting a picture of a Bruins Stanley Cup win when you rep another squad.

what's in the pipeline as far as talent?

Not terrible, but you've probably seen the best of them with the team now. (Horvat, Boeser, Tryamkin, ect.) Virtanen took a step back but should rebound next year (hopefully). Outside of that, the farm system is weak outside of a few flyers (Cassels, Demko, Kenins). 

Horvat, Baertschi, and Boeser look to be the three best assets right now.

Miller should be gone this summer.

Sedins make 7 mill per season for another year.

Edler, Eriksson, and Sutter making a combined $15 mill (I think) until at least 2018/2019. 

Annnnnd still paying Luongo $800,000 a year until 2020.
