Still don't see the point of these EMs that are poor representations of classic Kobe colorways other than a cash grab by Nike.  It's like buying canvas Jordan KOs.  Eventually they'll re-release the real deal (like the Bred 1s in a couple weeks and Royals).  Kobe retros are likely right around the corner now that he's retired.

Those EM Curials clearly are trying to replicate the 8s, but they're missing the two most important elements, the Swoosh toe cap, and the grass on the soles.  Wouldn't get those on a deep discount.  

Not only will they likely retro, but 'resale' is dead.  You can get the real Curial 8 with decent negotiation skills instead of putting down $ for something inferior.  To each their own (and their $), but if money can be made by issuing a retro (and Kobe retros will sell), you can rest assured they'll likely release soon.
