it was him, shaun phillips and somebody else. During one the breaks they practically walked to the middle of the field and was talkin that...Philips wasgiving the peace sign, and the announcers said rivers was sayin somethin like "bye bye baby" or some stuff like that.

I thought it was hilarious. Trash talking is something I enjoy in any game

Contrary to your previous beliefs Chris Chambers IS what these Chargers needed. He IS the go-to/reliable receiver we needed and has come up big time aftertime the second half of the season.

Rivers is making good decisions and plays becuase the OLine is finally giving him ample time.

As far as eating crow on Chambers, I did remember saying that I didn't think he was our WR solution but he definitely is an upgrade. I mean, aftertoday's game, he's got a whopping 3 touchdowns for the season. I'm really impressed that ever since he's suited up for the Chargers, he'sgot 3 touchdowns.

But yeah, he really hasn't made much of a difference for the Chargers except for having the best hands and automatically becoming the number 1 option WR wise for our Chargers.

Go/To reliable = Upgrade = Chris Chambers. Difference maker? I'm not sold on that yet, especially since he had a big game against a pathetic Denver defense.

For now, the only thing I'll eat crow on is that Norv Turner is actually using his brain and is giving LT the ball.

As far as Rivers goes, maybe he's actually looking good because we're playing against crappy teams?

The only player I hate on is Rivers and VJ.

I never hated on Chambers. I've been saying it, and I'll keep saying it, he was an upgrade to our WR corps from the start. But seriously, outside oftoday's game, what has he done? Some of those games were AG, LT, and the defense doin' the work, so I can understand why hehasn't done much, but real talk, when the opposing team has stopped LT, what has Chris Chambers done?

You only see what you want. I can't see what satisfaction you get by crapping on your own boys.

TDs are not the end all be all in what makes a Wide Receiver a great addition and resource for a team.

He blocks down field VERY well. This helps our running game.

He is a great route running receiver that has made several game braking catches. This helps keep the safeties and linebackers on their toes opening up thefield for other players and keeping these defenses off LT's and Philip's in the backfield.

Yeah we are beating teams that we should beat. But we are BEATING them my friend. We are in the playoffs, whatever happened earlier in the season against theteams we have to look forward to in the playoffs are just learning experiences. When we face them it's one or done, and I'm glad we have Chambers helpto hopefully change our franchise's luck this year.

Chambers is what we needed because he meshes with our corps of players and our "style" of offense. A Moss or a Chad Johnson or a TO wouldn't behappy or even fit in our LT-first system. A play making receiver that is unselfish but delivers when he is asked to is what we needed and what we have inChambers. Our record with him is 6-2. That is all I'm worried about.

Ya'll don't want to talk about the negative. Keep painting that pretty picture of our Chargers. But like Jaws said, if the Chargers want to go deep inthe playoffs, PR has to prove that he can play consistent. So far, this season, he's shown no consistency. So if we want to go deep, PR better tighten upthat chin strap and play phenomenal because I'm not banking on his inconsistency to take us to the promised land.

You might want to hold onto that Crow Asada taco for the second round, because if we hold the 3rd seed and we play against the Titans, that W should be a givenfor us, unless our Chargers completely have a brain fart and don't show up that game.

Word on the off years. And that goes for the whole team, LT, gates, o-line rivers etc.

And I think it's 100 percent turn around from earlier this year. I mean we lost to the chiefs! I expected a tough game from the packers and the vikings,but we should have beatin them too. So with that said we are now beating teams we are suppose to, instead of losing to them.

And chambers has definitely paid off. He's no superstar player but a bankable one. His blocking is what has surprised me, he's up there with VJ. Hisathletic ability is lovely to watch especially with those hands. Big guy too, he doesn't go down for nobody, hits kinda like a RB.

Like I said, give'em some time, even though theres not much time left. With a ompletely new coaching staff plus chambers it's gonna take a second tounfold. But it's getting there, and close.

They've got one more game to polish their skills, and probably a gimme playoff game that will set everything right. We beat Oakland, we get CLE (orsomebody besides JAX) and will probably WIN THAT PLAYOFF GAME!!!! for the first time in.......................................________________

You are the Craftsy/me of the Chargers. We are always down on our team (probably more than we should be). Chargers can be a very dangerous teamcome playoff time, however I think this is one year where the two top teams in the AFC simply have it on lock (much like the NFC back in 92-95). Unfortunate,because I think if this was a few years earlier, a team like the Chargers or Jags could easily make a run and take the title. But I have the sinking feelingthat the miracle run from a team (whether it is the Chargers, Steelers or Jags) isn't coming this year
