The first rough draft for the field of 64 has been set. The committee will work again tomorrow to finalize the field.

Baseball America has projected the field.

The top 8 seeds are
1. Virginia
2. Florida
3. South Carolina
4. Vanderbilt
5. UNC
6. FSU
7. Rice
8. Texas A&M

It's pretty much a lock that Virginia will be the overall number one seed. Florida should bet set in the #2 seed with their win in the SEC tournament and being co-champs in the regular season with South Carolina and Vandy.

UVA has the easiest road for sure and is deserved as the #1 seed

Vandy dropping all the way to a 6 was surprising.

St. John's lets go 3 seed!!

I watched the game yesterday vs Seton Hall. We had runners on 1st and 2nd 2 outs in the 9th and couldn't come back with a score of 4-2.

Anyway...lets go!!

LSU got left out... probably means Mississippi State was one of the last few in.

Not sure I like being paired against Southern Miss though... we already beat them once this season. Hard to do that twice....
