its 1993 technology vs 2016 tech. considering how old they are, 998 are very good, but v4 are still way better.

It 's a polarizing model for sure. But it's the best thing NB's U.S. factories have pumped out in quite some time in my opinion. Definitely the most comfy NBs out of all the ones I own.

Thanks for all of the help with the v4 vs 998 comfort. I'll likely grab a pair or maybe some 993s from Joe's. From what I have read, the 990/993s seem to run tts, correct? Need to go narrow for sure, but want to get that sizing correct.
