2K14's aren't pretty, may even be ugly, but they're not Venice Beach ugly. Have him replace those with a decent pair of kicks and (assuming these are all DS/VNDS at the least) it's a solid deal.

Blue Blitz are a regretful non-pickup. All the pairs I looked at at HOH seemed to have a milky or cloudy white sole as apposed to clear though.....

I have two pairs of Venice Beaches. Although I love them dearly, I can assure you that they do not pop that loudly in person like that picture illudes.
I do hoop in them though, so maybe the beating they have taken has dulled them.
