Ima bout to cop my first Gucci kicks, hows the sizing?

I'm a regular 8.5. To my knowledge their sizing is 1-1.2 smaller than US sizes.

dope shoes everyone...i have a couple quick questions; first, does anyone have any pictures of the graphite low lv's worn with shorts? not too sure if theywould go together...my other question is how do the damier lv's hold up? since its made out of vinyl (and some leather), does anyone notice wear and tearon the shoes; such as cracking...i'm thinking of scooping up a pair, but don't know if it's worth 600 dollars if it's going to crack in 6months...any info/pics would be greatly appreciated.
