Just curious...

How do you guys decide which shoes you're going to wear when you play? I understand the indoor/outdoor, but wow... some of you have so many pairs. If I hadthat many I wouldn't be able to decide.

For me it's pretty simple:

Indoor - Kobe IV's
Outdoor - Zoom MVP

I dunno.. I get attached to my shoes. For example... before I wore the Kobe 4's, I was wearing Nike Shox Gamer VC PE's, and since I got the Kobe'sI never used my Gamer's. I have a pair of KB4's from NikeID on the way. Not sure what I'm gonna do with my inlines.
 
some people make a wheel and spin it. whatever the pointer lands on, that's what you ball in for the day. indoor and outdoor wheels are separate btw.

lol i don't know how other people do it but i just go down the line.
 
For me, it's usually a mood thing.

If I just want to be comfortable then I'll probably go with a low. I don't have that many mids anyway.

Indoor/outdoor usually makes it easy to pick too, it narrows down the choices.

I pretty much pick at the last minute, and if I haven't played in a pair for a while then I'll bust that one out. I've definitely stopped on ODingpickups, but my most recent additions are the Jordan 12.5 and Kobe III. Haven't played in either yet with work and school, but I can't wait to try themout.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm trynna start a rotation but I usually get stuck on one shoe (closest to my hand

). Besides not wearing them out too quickly, what other benefits are there tohaving a rotation.

I choose my shoes based on what I feel I want to wear. I mostly wear my XX3s and ZS3s for indoor because I like them the best. Sometimes I just rotate to thenext in line.
 
usually for me it isn't necessarily the mood...
it's just how I'm doing physically, pending on workout and my legs/feet
if my feet are pretty beat or my knees are tender i'll go with something softer ---> zk4s
but if i haven't played in a while, and my legs/feet are fresh i'll pick something firmer like my 2k4s...
of course i put in my zoom bb mid/lows in the rotation and my zs3s, but yeah
usually it depends on my physical condition and needs; energy, soreness, freshness, strength, etc.

indoor: ZK1

outdoor: ZL2, 2k8 volts(this was a bad idea, didnt last for too long...)

i miss my 2k5's..... ive already retired 3 pairs. i need white/blk ones....
i think the huarache is horrible for outdoors. but it took me about 5 pairs to figure that out

I beat by 2k5s to death playing both indoors and outdoors. The sooner I beat the Hyperizes to death, the better!
