Giving props for not doing what you're already not supposed to be doing? Sounds backwards to me.He was born in 1904 there's a good chance some of his teachers where around before slavery was abolished . if he truly did change in his later years then props to him

Help me understand something.
If you can use the "product of your times" defense to exculpate someone from their prejudices, why is it that they deserve credit for expressing remorse for these positions later in life, at a time when they are no longer socially acceptable?
Isn't the supposed "redemption" just a product of its time, too?
To me at least , there's a huge difference between being insensitive and being racist .
Not 100% sure of where yet, not sure of where I would be comfortable going alone. Know a lumpsome of people in Haiti and in Canada, so those places are in the cards too. Don't mind shedding my first world skin, I just got a ish load of business to take care of before I can actively think about itWhere you planning to go?
