RAIDER NATION Season THREAD:

Dj hayden has played really well in the last 3 weeks. Had some great tackles yesterday and did a good job in coverage.

Ellis/Mack/Moore/Hayden/Carrie can be starters for the next 3 years.
Give Mcgee, Mayowa, Autry rotational snaps.
Keep Burris for depth.
Dowling and McGill are redshirting, hope they can contribute next year

Still need an Impact DL, MLB and a safety and we'll be set.

Wonder if Tarrell Brown is open to moving to safety.
I've always thought Carlos Rogers would be better fit at safety than at CB...hopefully he can come back after 10 days off.

Good thing about yesterday (other than the W) is that no major injuries. Murray should bounce back soon (hopefully no N. Roach type concussion). We should be getting Gabe Jackson back soon too. Murray + Carr + G. Jackson ( + Amari Cooper next season)

So now is it a "race" for the #1 pick?? We need that bad. Trade that joint for future #1s and whatever else. We play our cards right, the AFC west could be ours for the taking in 2 years and several years after that...

Tony Sparano pumps breaks on the Latavius Murray train

How fast is the Latavius Murray train filling up after the running back burst on the scene Thursday night with 112 yards on four carries, including touchdowns of 11 and 90 yards?

The swell of support behind Murray, who left the game in the second quarter with a concussion, has been palpable. And for good reason: He's looked like the Raiders most explosive back the past two weeks in limited attempts. The world wants, nay, needs more Murray in Oakland

However, interim coach Tony Sparano pumped the breaks to our train on Friday, hesitating to trumpet Murray as the featured back moving forward.

"I know what he did, but he played nine plays and unfortunately got hurt. He had a heck of a run," Sparano said, per the Bay Area News Group. "He also had the ball out one time which we need to get corrected."

That fumble came on the play in which Murray suffered the concussion. The 24-year-old back tweeted that he was fine on Friday. The Raiders got the weekend off after their first win of the season, so we won't get an official update on the back's status until next week.

Sparano said Murray would get more work when healthy, but added the young back has to continue to earn them in practice.

"Like any young player there is a progress you've got to see before you feel like you're going to put him out there in those situations," Sparano said. "I've had to see that in practice, and little by little I've seen it and this has kind of been where it has gone."

After watching Darren McFadden slip and slide for a 3.4 yards per carry average and Maurice Jones-Drew flop around for negative plays, Murray deserves a longer look as the front office evaluates their talent in another lost season.

If Sporano wants to keep his job, his best bet rides on the legs of Murray...

Hella trollin the reporters...

Sooooo I'm watching this Dallas game and imagining Rolondo Mack n Moore as our backers...how's this dude tearin it up now but acted a damn fool in Oakland.

Good for Rolando. He seems to have found his place and is making the best of a second opportunity. I can't be upset at that.

I just get a lil sour cus I'm thinking what we used to get him..vs what we got from him or for him..now look at him!!!
I mean I'm beyond it, it's old news but just makes me unno
