nerd glasses emoticon here. .I nominate myself to be the NSFW mod. I'll monitor all the ______ women threads, T,A,N, and other suspicious threads. I been snitching for free for years might as well join the team.
Holla at ya boy Meth.
This^I also find it kind of ironic that some of our male users complain about the male:female ratio here, yet refuse to acknowledge the connection. How welcome would you feel on a forum where every other avatar was a closeup of a guy's crotch?
Thank you for striving to keep this community clean. I enjoy Niketalk, but the NSFW content discourages me from getting on at school
You said it, as bad as the people on FB reporting peoples pictures. DON'T GO TO THE GROUP or THREAD. NSFW means WHAT?lot of dry snitching in this threadand who would have thought that ad revenue would one day be the reason of NTs ultimate demise
I dont understand how people are like " i cant get on nt at my job or school because of inappropriate content". Then why dont you actually focus on work/school or you stay off til you're in a more free environment. Acting like people are forcing you to be on this site.
Unfortunately your logic has a few flaws.Absolutely not. This would only encourage more users to post inappropriate content to our forums. We didn't create NikeTalk so 15 year olds would finally have a place to talk about porn on the Internet.
If you lower the standards in one area, you're effectively lowering standards across the board.
No. I'm not going to prohibit people from posting pictures of people they find attractive - so long as those images are in compliance with our policy. If you can see it in a TV ad or on a billboard that would appear in a public place, that's fine. It would be silly to ban you guys from participating in those types of threads if, for all we know, an ad with a swimsuit model may be served by Google AdSense at any given moment.
What we DO have a problem with are posts where those images go BEYOND what you'd find on network television and in advertisements appearing in public places. (e.g. the "extreme close-ups", etc.)
All I'm asking is that you guys keep it sensible, tasteful, and safe for a wide audience.
We also obviously have a problem with people requesting links to celebrity sex tapes, discussing pornography, or otherwise creating lewd and inappropriate content on our forums.
If having appreciation thread NAMES on your screen is a risk, then perhaps you need to not go on the Internet at work. During the summer months 98% of the sites online are either showing ads for bathing suits or advertising women at the beach playing in the water. I assume those are more acceptable than appreciation thread NAMES. I really think NT is caving under the pressure of a few unreasonable people who don't "view" the appreciation threads but knows that they are getting to racy.Completely agreed. Ive said it in other threads but NT has really gotten out of hand with women appreciation threads over the last couple of years. They take up half of first page it seems. Black, White, Asian, Latina, African, In Glasses, Cute Girls, Athletic, Butt, Breast, Butterface etc...its ridiculous imo and makes going on NT General at work (even if you dont click the threads, them just being listed on the screen) a risk.
It makes NT look like a bunch of sad thirsty dudes....but I guess it reflects the forum. Ive never understood them anyways as since they are mostly filled with borderline SFW pics anyways so if people were thirsty and wanted to look at women are there not plenty of better places for those not participating in the "No Fap" challenges?
Go to a p0rn sites if you want to look at fapping material, please keep most of that crap off NT.
But you were offended or disturbed, how can something be out of hand and not disturb "you". Are you now the police for everyone else's viewing pleasure, you decide what is appropriate or inappropriate for the site. I seem to be confused by your flip flopping posts, and would like clarification.I thought i was the only one that thought the images and the content posted recently in the forums were getting a little out of hand. Thanks for reiterating the rules meth.
I don't understand why you need to click on and view these "edgy" threads then. Please explain to me how they are negatively affecting you, last time I checked threads only open when you click on them.Pretty much this right here, lately a lot of the threads have have been a little too edgy
EXACTLY. I may not like an assault rifles but I certainly am not going to go and say NOBODY should be allowed to have them. NOBODY needs to go faster than me, so I will police the fast lane and go as fast as I think they should. People really need to stop forcing a personal preference on other people. Why? Those same WSHH videos can be found on YouTube. If the video isn't breaking any rules, what's the problem? You have a choice. You don't have to view them.
Hmmm isn't that the truth, I would love to know what job says we are going to pay you to surf the Internet all day. Nothing else, BUT we are going to have to fire you if you have a racy thread NAME up when we walk by.you're not supposed to be surfing the internet at work anyway
What search for your job brings you to the general forum or appreciation threads on NT? Also if it is does then your boss or coworkers shouldn't have a problem with you doing your job.If you work in an office, often times is part of your job, the hell you talkin about
OHHHH. I get it, because of the appreciation threads we are preventing you from stealing money from your company claiming hours you technically did NOT work. Ok, that makes sense the appreciation threads prevent you from slacking off at work., it is so clear now.Obviously not, but is a lot easier to get away with than having nude women all over your screen....but let me stop, don't want to get crucified by the dudes who act as if HGF doesn't exist or other pron sites, so they get their fix from here.
As much as ya hate the other site, having these female appreciation threads is very reminiscent of them.
Over 75% of our users visit the site from the United States. Television programs created in the United States are viewed around the world. It's simply an easier concept for the overwhelming majority of our users to grasp than to list, in excruciating detail, what is and is not appropriate here.Unfortunately your logic has a few flaws.
1). You don't clearly define what can and can't be posted on NT, per your statement above:
If you can see it in a TV ad or on a billboard that would appear in a public place, that's fine.
I don't agree. Why should I permit rule violations in one particular area, especially when the content has absolutely NOTHING to do with the purpose of our site? NikeTalk was never supposed to be all things to all people.2). Having a NSFW only area, with age verification does not correlate to an increase in NSFW threads. The threads are centralized which will increase the number of places you can post advertisements, because you won't have to worry about NSFW material popping up somewhere else. For those that don't follow the rules, strike them down with an iron fist. If your not of age to view them, to bad one of the perks of being older.
And this is where you have it backwards. You're trying to force your personal preference on me and on a website that's had this policy for over 13 years. NikeTalk is not the only site on the Internet.People really need to stop forcing a personal preference on other people.
dudes gotta stop wildin out on NT
