The man really had it out for graff on trains, but that's because he was a straphanger himself, even while in office. In retrospect, you gotta respect that.

I was watching NY1 and they said Koch wanted to get wolves to attack the graffiti artists lol..He couldn't get it so he just settled for dogs.

He deserves all the love because not only was he a personable Mayor who did a good job, he was also a fighter for civil rights. As a lawyer, he went down south during the civil right era, bailed out, and defended African Americans who were wrongly jailed for free. He also marched down south for civil rights as well.

He was a good man who deserves all the respect he is getting.
