At the same time with Nips gang involvement, it could easily be framed another way. Killing is the quick efficient way to do it. Especially if you can frame it as "look it was one of his own people". Black on black crime narrative immediately active and it instantly makes sense given his history and where it happened.

I'm not 100% either way considering none of us have any idea what actually caused this, I just think there is valid points being made by each group of people.

End of the day its just a ****ed up situation and I hope this unity we're beginning to see really blossoms and we get something powerful going.

That 400 years is up and it's time to prosper.

I dont believe the govt did it. I feel its just some street stuff..

BUT for those that feel it was a bigger entity like the government I got a question. If the government is behind this what happens to Eric Holder?

while Jay is someone i **** with heavy, what him & Nipsey did aren't the same. Hov is starting to CLEARLY convey that message recently, in the past 2-3 years (in that period there have been several songs where he's hinted at being stopped, being killed by "them"). With that said Jay has very much been helping white capitalist further there agenda also.

From doing documentaries produced by Harvey Weinstein, to the Barclays project (which expedited Brooklyn gentrification) to doing business & promoting several other luxury brands. Jay told ya'll several years ago he's gonna show you how to move in a room full of vultures. A lot of the stuff Jay does is usually done behind the scenes. The moves that he makes & talks about doesn't seem attainable to the everyday dude in the hood, and doesn't have an IMMEDIATE impact. So while Jay's messages through song are appreciated, they aren't nearly as loud & bold as Nipsey's.

Nip is Directly hiring people from his hood, Directly calling for an end to gang violence while still being around those same dudes daily, he's directly attaching his name & money to tech programs, after school programs, black entrepreneurship, It's not just the music, it's not to be decoded.. it's in plain sight, that is his message 100% of the time & the average man sees that & relates to it. That's why nip was so important he was the vessle between the dudes like Hov/Diddy & the people on the ground level.
