This is the least of fans worries when there's stories of them not being competitive with guys worth 12 million$700mn/10 years. The M's could not have matched that and I'm glad they didn't.
Never was going to match but it'll be a nice day when this FO feels competitive and serious even if they don't land someone.

Earliest would be ‘25 if the power gets moving. Also a caveat that the Mariners system is down hence he was a top 5 guy
