I've read that people can do this and move freely and it's a peaceful feeling...this felt forced and I was full of fear. It didn't feel like a dream state, I was fully aware of my surroundings in real time.

Astral projection never feels like a dream state. Thats what makes it a convincing out of body experience.

I've forced myself to astral project and had it happen spontaneously and everytime i was scared as **** and full of fear. Only one time was i able to overcome that and it was trippy to say the least.
