i live in central texas this dude was on tv atleast 2 nites a week for years

i saw like every game he played from like 92-2003

im from austin but my whole city is hardcore spurs fans

and anybody i ask who actually followed the spurs in the 90's will tell you the same thing

There's nothing to say. Just look at simple stats. Also Duncan won the MVPS in the Finals, not Robinson. He's won more MVPs than Robinson as well. Duncan got better when it mattered.

There's nothing to say. Just look at simple stats. Also Duncan won the MVPS in the Finals, not Robinson. He's won more MVPs than Robinson as well. Duncan got better when it mattered.

they couldnt key on duncan as much because he had more threats (ginobili,parker,and robinson himself)

So using that same logic you just spoke of, how can we fairly say that DR was a better scorer than TD considering TD had more scoring threats around him for the most of his career? Wouldn't DR HAVE to score more than TD since he was usually head and shoulders the best scorer on his team. Even though a few years Terry Cummings and Sean Elliot were in the upper teens, low 20s in terms of PPG average?

My point is it is unfair to call DR a better scorer when he HAD to score more than TD.
