Too thick because you guys buying whey concentrate based garbage commercial brands. Stuff not gonna give you lean gains at all. Cheap as hell an they don't disclose the protein blend ratio. Paying for fancy label and branding. All this protein comes fro. The same damn manufacturing sources.
Why use straps on shrugs and bent over rows?
Those are some of the best exercises to build forearm strength and size.
Don't be that guy with no forearms and no legs...
No one likes those guys.
They are last to eat if a famine breaks out.
Lol @ forearm work.
Grab some fat gripz an make life easier. You guys have time for BS like that? I'm jealous.
Forearms will grow if you do Deads an actually move iron also. You guys be training like ifbb dudes. All that extra stuff I'm good. Straps? Never needed.
How long you guys train a day? My earlier 20s I thought I was doing it with 2 hr workouts....when life had more time. Now days I bust *** in 45-1hr tops no dre beats or nothing. Just mind body connection. On that note. Off to gym now....fasted as usual.
Soccer got moved to next thursday.....that means.....LEG DAY IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I shall murder my legs tonight with the power of 300 well equip Spartans that are battling 300 slightly genetically modified to be more intelligent so they can understand the concept of battle and stay focused silverback gorillas,

I'd take the power of the 300 silverbacks if i were you, they're definitely stronger lol
Average exerciser, probably not. Those focused on the mind-muscle connection and pure isolation, (more experienced, hypertrophy based trainers) I would say should. Powerlifting and crossfit, to me, have always seemed more about functional fitness and unassisted personal strength. Using grip assistants or strips seems to detract from that philosophy. Though I definitely see where you are coming from.So the average exerciser should use straps, but the powerlifting/crossfitter shouldnt? I say its the exact opposite of that.
Only reason I like LA Fitness is the girls that go there...not saying you but from what i see an i go to multiple gyms in my area
1. ppl talk to much to others, workout in like groups of 5 for some reason......
2. ppl rest way too long between sets/exercises
3. ppl finding a song on their ipod/texting
4. i actually see ppl take selfies in the gym now........during training/videos too. everybody got a youtube channel?
im about that that "sweat equity" in the gym.......dudes walk around i dont even see sweat just bright headphones and chit chat
gotdamn im sorry guys i just wanna cancel my LA fitness membership now, i despise that place i swear social media has changed the gym scene
nothing against you bros with fancy gym t shirts either but gotdamn, leave me alone
/rant
The problem is that with straps, the mind muscle connection is severely diminished. If you diminish the hands responsibilities, it limits the neural systems need to fire. The harder you grip something, the better you achieve a neural drive. To me, thats why I see things opposite of the way you do. The average gym-goer needs MORE functional fitness/health and by limiting grip strength you limit the total functionality of the body.
Also keep in mind that theres a very strong correlation between hand grip strength and total body strength.
When the famine breaks out, and you can't bust open that can of beans with your hands..
Don't complain when zombies eat you.
