Anyways, i watched this interview after reading his last AMA on Reddit. This man is my idol and the reason i switched my major from accounting to physics.
Just got his book "The Sky Is Not The Limit: Journey of an Urban Astrophysicist"

This guy is brilliant, and he's funny so its never boring listening to him..
 
This man most definitely played a part in my interest of the universe ever since the series "The Universe" on the History Channel.. Him and

Michio Kaku, (currently reading his book, Hyperspace, unfortunately I've been stuck on this one for a yr or so for many reasons..)

I recommend "Death by Black Hole" by NDT.. especially for beginners, he makes things much easier to understand.. from there I'd say you could go to Stephen Hawking who in some of his books uses more complex concepts..

We need kids to start thinking people like him are cool, because he is. Great video.

Also Colbert surprised me, I didn't know he was smart when he put away his persona.
