Damn Arcades have me a good feeling. I feel that way when I walk into Casinos now and hear the digital slot machines.

Arcades were 

Playing sports with your friends and then going to the arcade afterwards is one of the fondest memories of my childhood.

And no matter how hard they try, the consoles can never duplicate that "Oh no, this is my last quarter. What am I going to do with the rest of my day if I lose now?" feeling of desperation to beat your next opponent/stage and the joy when you manage to do it and get yourself some more minutes of playing time.

I'm pretty terrible at this game, but i still enjoy it.  The DS4 is a terrible controller, i find myself swapping between the Dpad and the analog mid-match 

  And a couple times in panic mode i'll accidentally hit the share button.

Think i know where I gonna spend some of my tax return.

Yea accidently hitting the shate button is really annoying. That said, it really isn't a bad pad.

I see a lot of people using it in tournaments so it can't be that bad.

I won't lie though, i can't use pad and even stick is hard as well.

I really want to try the Hitbox though.
I think once you get past the learning curve, this would be really accurate and good for reactions.

Alex is really fun to play with this time around. EX Stun gun head butt is crazy OP. I haven't given this game the time it deserves. I'm still Super Bronze but I barely play. Aiming for silver tonight.

I noticed Alex had the Parry yesterday night when I was playing and was like . Charging up his V-Trigger move travels about half screen too. The weakness is there though. A mean projectile zone game is all you need against him. He eats anti airs all day too because his hitbox is HUGE

Alex looked really good to me at first but after watching a bunch of gameplay not so much. He's slow, not as strong as you would think, throws have poor range, combo potential kinda limited. Don't think he has a reliable wakeup option either. He looks fun as hell to play though with the V-Trigger shenanigans and his rangey normals and specials. You think he's out of range and then pow he's on you. Counter will catch plenty off guard too. Overall he's a great addition to the cast.

i know the feel. sucks so bad when it turns into teleport fighter 5 too.

I'm gonna focus on ranked matches today. Really haven't given the game the attention it needs. Last I played was 2 days ago, beat all of Ryu's trials and was on a 6 game win streak on rank.
