My dude, it was news reports from damn Arizona and Utah and crap about cats getting murked in the club because of this song. My dude I use toreally think Paul and Juice sold their souls for beats, cause them tracks put you in a damn trance haha.Originally Posted by SHERLOCK FOAMS
I'm from NYC, I was a teen still when "Tear Da Club Up" came out. But the stories older heads had about that song and the things that happened when that song got played in NY clubs (Not ATL or Memphis but NYC)... 2 words "Buck Fifty!"
But Knuck if You Buck is the more peaceful out of the two. People get just as crunk over it, but without the violence. Plus the bass on that song is ridiculous. And chicks really do turn into chickenheads when the girl's verse comes on "WE KNUCKIN' & BUCKIN' & READY TO FIGHT!"
Only NYC "crunk" song I can remember that dj's couldn't really play in clubs with out a fight starting was "Ante Up". Still to this day I can't for get seeing this kid I went to school with ending up on the wrong side of a '1 hitter quitter' due to this song.
