Austin is a PG. He's just been really bad for most of his stint in the NO. But he's a PG. He doesn't have the size, athleticism, or shooting to be a 2 guard.
But there's even less to suggest he can be a PG at the NBA level. I don't think he has a single PG bone in his body. He's a 2 by default because he doesn't have PG skills.Austin Rivers is a PG simply because nothing suggest he can be a 2 at the NBA level. Really simple.
