Earlier in the thread I said Rondo is worth $18mil/year in the current state of the NBA
Demare getting $15/year now. Who still disagrees with me?
Props to everyone updating the thread with the tweets.
Helps out a non tweeting brother like myself
I'd assume a lot would disagree after what Rondo showed last season.Earlier in the thread I said Rondo is worth $18mil/year in the current state of the NBA

Lakers have wrapped up with Greg Monroe in DC. There was some good back and forth dialogue, I've been told.

Khris Middleton and the Bucks have finalized their five-year, approximately $70 million deal, league source confirms.

Jimmy Butler, Chicago Bulls finalizing a five-year, $95M maximum contract with player option after four years, league sources tell Yahoo.
Mark Deeks @MarkDeeksNBA 1m
Player option after FOUR years, not for the fourth year. Pretty big.

Agreed. Clippers or Lakers far more likely for Tyson Chandler if he leaves Dallas as it increasingly appears

Man this would be huge for CLippers.
I don't want to see this TBH
So how many players now have turned down max contracts from the Lakers?
About as many as the Rockets.
All those players that passed on the Rockets were able to get full max deals that the Rockets couldn't give them. Players that passed on and will continue to due do so because they don't want to be there and would not have made sense to go anyway

Teams pursuing Butler, a restricted free agent, with offer sheets have given up and moved on, league sources tell Yahoo.
4 years, $60 mil. I regard Middleton as a better player and higher ceiling.
One guy shot 40% from 3 on an ECF finals team.
The other 45% from the foul line and got sent home from the team.
You do the math
replacing deandre with chandler is a downgrade
of course, but its by no means "huge for the clippers"Yes, but not nearly as severe as replacing DeAndre with, say, Bismack Biyombo or Epke Udoh.replacing deandre with chandler is a downgrade
