What's being missed here is that DJ is the one that felt he was making a mistake and reached out to Doc, not the other way around.
Terrance Jones did a similar F Boy move minutes after committing to Washington. Had the ceremony and everything. Called Cal immediately after crying like a baby saying he made a mistake lol.
UW could've had Terrance Jones, Wroten, CJ Wilcox and Terrance Ross. Sheesh.
I hope Hyland is a man of his word. Zero respect for a man that goes back on his word. LAC is dirty for this. Had their pitch and chance. Now everyone is killing them so Chris Paul ready to be a teammate and friend now? **** out of here.
Are you not paying attention? LAC didn't reach out to DJ, he reached out to them fam.
I read both. I read that Rivers and LAC reached out to him. I read that DJ called Doc and said he was unsure. So either way. it's foul on both ends. No one made you agree to sign with Dallas. You could have taken your time. Be a man of your word and respect it.
but your law firm aint tryna bring home the title this year over somebody switching up either
BINGO. There are a lot of deals that are in the works that were based off that move. If he backs out that can have a nasty affect on other moves that were gonna happen or agreed uponIt's not so much about changing his mind as to much the mavs and everyone else made moves in regards to this.
LMA took his sweet time deciding and took multiple meetings even though EVERYONE knew he was gonna be a spur.
this he should be signed in dallas by now if the nba did not have jacked up rulesVery true
You can change your mind but he didn't have to agree to terms. He could have told every team that was interested in him, I want to wait and think about it for a week. He chose to agree and commit. This is on him. Be a man of your word.
Wont matter Clippers or Mavs aint gonna be in the Finals good luck with that 5th seed if that ....out West

Yes and no. There are no titles for law firms, no, but its an extremely competitive business. Any edge you can get to bring in more clients than another firm is an advantage. And good lawyers are one of the things that law firms sell to prospective clients. So, when well recognized attorneys switch firms, its a big deal and can have big financial implications.
I agree, however this isn't a guy going back on a bet or committing to buy something, this is the next 5 years of a fairly young guys life. If you where to be taking a job overseas for the next 3 year, and get cold feet and second guessing yourself, your telling me you would be miserable and just tough it out? IMO, a real man would have the courage to decline and do what's best for himself. You can change your mind but he didn't have to agree to terms. eh it's not like he's going to some foreign land, he's from texas.Only on NT, where you can't change your mind

he probably would haves sucked it up and not let anybody know but Dj seems like a weird dude
But if the NBA didn't have this moratorium period, Dallas would be stuck with a player who really wouldn't want to be there potentially.

This is what I've been waiting for. When DJ chose Dallas it was all about how big of a piece we just lost. Now that he may be coming back he isn't that big of a piece .
How about when Calipari changed his mind and Memphis missed out on Wall, Xavier Henry, Cousins + everybody else they had that year
Again, the Cal slander will not be tolerated
He did a great job reviving Memphis, loved his tenure there. Great campus too, hidden gem on the low.
My teammate played on the squad that lost to Kansas, couldn't get off the bench tho .. those were good & sad times
Dudes in here talking about DeAndre needs to be a man of his word and lame for backing out, are the same ones that back out of shoe deals and trades on a daily basis
Oh the hypocrisy
150$

This is true, DJ comes back they're only elevated from a 7 or 8 seed to battling with the Rockets and Grizz for that 4/5 slot.
