I Predicted THIS!

(Deeray Voice) YEARS AGO... (Deeray Voice)

Lemme start with sayin this list was put togeather soley on a QUALITY basis...

Not based on Billboard Chart positioning, record sales, strictly based on GREAT hip hop songs released as singles in the years between 2000-09...

While orgininality, and impact did play a role, its by NO means a "Who's Who" in popular hip hop of the 2000s, if thats what you're lookin for, I'm sure MTV has a list for your taste...

You've got the wrong Eminem songs on here man.

Don't understand how you have Cleanin' Out My Closet on here and not Lose Yourself.

Don't agree with a Lupe song at #2 either, but as for the rest of songs I'm pretty OK with it; although the ordering could use a tweaking.

"LoseYourself" is ghey...
NEVER enjoyed that song one bit...

"Cleanin Out My Closet" is 178x better...

Obviously it was a popular song, but that doesn't = good...

Since "Toot It & Boot It" was OFFICIALLY released as a single this year it wasn't included...

Would've EASILY been #1 tho...

I'm no Eminem fan but "Cleanin Out My Closet" is one of the GREATEST hip hop songs EVER recorded... PERIOD

For the most part, I think it's a good list. If I made a list, Empire State of Mind would not make it, and Stan would be number one.

Other songs I think are worthy of making such a list:

Jay-Z - Song Cry.

Nas - Moment of Silence, Got Urself a Gun.

OutKast - Ms. Jackson.

Cam - Down and Out, Hey Ma.

T.I. - What You Know.

Kanye - Diamonds.

Common - Come Close, The Corner, The Food.

I know there are more, but these are the first to come to mind.

I considered EVERY song you listed...
I didn't put "Song Cry" or the NaS joints cause I didn't wanna have more than 3 songs by any artist...

"What You Know" should've DEF been on there tho...

Just flat out forgot that...

MAJOR error on my part...
