The Combat Jack Show Thread

The OC Juan Ep was good. Best one in a minute. I never knew how he got with Organized, because I never knew about the Queens connection and staying near Monch.

The Tax was sort of wack. First you could barely hear the bartenders. And the way he looks down on them is disturbing. You would think they were pros. And him promoting simping. Take care of you? They aren't children :smh:

If a dude got with you while you were on a pole or in a bar, he should be accepting of it or move on.
I'm getting kind of tired of guests on these Hip Hop podcasts being IG models or this with the bartenders. They really don't have much to offer.

And I was rolling when son was talking about coddling these women economically. I'm good.

That bartender episode was trash. Tax was settling into a nice lil groove. This was just all over the place.

Would love to see Jim Jones or Cam on Tax. That would be EPIC!

The bartender episode was wack, more random than usual. The chick mimi he was talking about got those cakes, fine brown thick sista.

I haven't listened yet but I would think Tax would shine on an episode with bartenders  he's always talking about them

Elliot made me realize why I hate him.

I hated him with XXL and the us versus them, being YN and trying to be the star. Twenty years later he's still doing the we're number one thing as an effort to promote his product as if that attracts people. I wonder how Pete and Combat feel about it.

Made him sound like a sleezy car salesman
As well as made him seem like a leech or culture vulture

Yep, he gave me the same reaction as when I hear Coach Cal speaks. I recognize when I'm being fed bull. Him trying to say how much money they're spending in 2015. They spend pennies compared to what they used to with artist.

love below was trash besides a day in the life of Andre Benjamin

Yeah, but it was successful as hell and put Outkast in another league.
That's the main reason I can't really enjoy the show. That 'the only opinion that matters' and refusing to interview podcasters is corny. All the competition isn't necessary in this field. Anyone can listen to anything at any given moment. Shows aren't competing with one another in time slots. There's 24 hours in a day, if the product is good enough people will get around to it.

That's something I always appreciated about Combat. Besides the bs beef with Rosenberg, he always was sure to embrace those other shows that do exactly what he does with his show. The internet doesn't promote as much competition as radio, but this dude still dedicated a good 5 minutes every episode to talking about how they're number one and so much better than everyone of there.

Before I couldn't stand the laugh, now I see this dude is a cornball.

Yeah he's annoying with that. It's juvenile. And just as bad as Rosenberg said The Source was for attacking Em, XXL was just as bad for latching on to Em and Shady's jock. I was done with both of those mags at that point. But I guess it got Elliot Rap Radar.

It's like how he spams you to death on Twitter with links all day. That's why Clark Kent blocked him. He probably was annoyed and said forget unfollowing, and just blocked him.

Are you number one because of the quality or how you shove it down everyones throat

I followed Elliot on Instagram for like a day. What Budden said was true. Dude is wayyyyyy to active on social media. He'all post like 20 pics in the span on an hour. Definitely overexposed.

I can't take B Dot serious after the way Ebro treated him. And Elliott didn't even stand up for him.

The Talib interview was pretty good. That Fader one was about 40 minutes too long. I had to skip that like those the rug stuff and those other two.

I had been saying what E Double said for a minute about the sub genres and how it was needed in rap.

@Joe calling out Elliott about him and the number one thing. Everyone is number one when their episode first drops.

Way more tolerable than on her podcast she still had to throw in how she love to suck D on every podcast though

She said that on Dante Nero's podcast too

Stephanie actually making a solid contribution on Buddens podcast

Stephanie actually making a solid contribution on Buddens podcast

I was going to say that.

At first I was like oh no, I can't avoid her.

But her comments on Amber Rose and some feminist were spot on.
Glad I'm not the only one. I almost didn't even listen.

Joe is def a bird, though. Ever since someone in here told me that I've been listening differently. It's like watching The Sixth Sense for the second time knowing

Bruce Willis is dead.

this podcast was a bird-fest…one of the females said "like" 600 times in 45 mins...

Honestly all of the current hip-hop podcast with the exception of Juan Ep and Combat on a good day have turned into gossip trash.

That chick from lip service should only be allowed to do that show. Joe actually held back a lot, cause she kept cutting him off talking nonsense plenty of times.

I also found it funny that both women on the show justified Amber initially by saying "She's so beautiful but...", the he'll does that have to do with her bird mentality. This was a perfect example of the halo effect.

I think Stephanie was saying that, because she didn't want to entirely bash her **** Walk, because in our society people consider anything you have negative to say about a person hating. So in attempt to try to balance it out she was talking about how she looked and her skin

Listening to this Lip Service with "actress" Mary Jean a few minutes in she brought up an interesting point... she said when a guy doesn't make a move or whatever she feels rejected.

I've had that happen few times over the years....it weird as hell. Not trying to smash/make a move on a first date can be a bad thing  :smh:

highly recommend checkin out the bodega boys podcast. desus and mero are straight comedy

I finally listened to the last portion of the Maino/Stephanie love fest and it wasn't too bad. Even though she talks too much, she's not too bad. Like how she acknowledges her African blood.

and I was wondering the same thing in New York, where did all the Domincans and also Mexicans come from. Them moving to Orlando

The Ross Rap Radar wasn't too bad.

I need to become more knowledge about porn, because I've never heard of the ones they have on the show. I looked up the last chick with the annoying voice talking about she was an astronaut and saw she was unattractive and I stopped listening. I might give it a listen, I haven't listened to Lip Service in three or four weeks.
