The Official Anime & Manga Thread Vol: 三

Can someone in here give me some anime to watch that something like Space Cowboy? I'm just getting into this stuff and I find it kind of interesting.
Samurai Champloo is awesome and is what really got me into watching anime recently

I've hyped for it since it first got announced

Anyone else watch Knights of Sidonia?

I had it in my backlog when it was airing but never started it since no one was simulcasting it

Netflix picked up the license and released it on Friday dubbed and subbed, man, I regret sleeping on it, this show is ******* DOPE :pimp:
Sidonia was my favorite of last season but I still cant explain why.

character faces are mad creepy.

the first three GITS: Arise movies were dope. seeing how everything came together from the beginning

.  @2sappy  you know if the 4th movie out somewhere yet?

Haven't seen it out yet man. I'm waiting for it too. It was supposed to be subbed around the same time as the 3rd movie.
Don't worry, I'll post about it here when it does show up.

Just finished it, and this episode was hilarious

Emo Dandy has it rough
It hurt seeing what emo dandy had to go through on a daily basis. I legitimately feel bad for him.
Aside from that, this show always comes through with the knowledge and the funny ways to talk about it like String Theory, Multiverse theory, and Schrodinger's cat in this episode.

This, but also...

This  The fact that the gauna look like evil minced meat constantly sent shivers down my spine.

I was sitting here thinking that the helmet Meow from Emo Dandy's universe was holding was QT  His life is definitely filled with hardship |I

I like how they incorporate educational aspects as well. It's not a show that's for everyone, but it does what it does well. As long as they keep the ending theme, I don't see myself ever not being a fan.

Finally finished FMAB

I have to apologize for all te years i s$itted on watching it.

I think the cartoon network 03/04 one just really turned me off (sort of like the 4 kids OP)

It was great, well written, well drawn.

King Bradley is GOAT
Winry Yambs were had.
RIP Hughes.

I used to love case closed when they played the first 10 episodes on cartoon network years ago, but I really don't wanna run through 700+ episodes

Just so you know, there's 4 ovas and a movie after fmab.
repped.

btw, so i just watched all 64 eps in about 3 weeks, do or should i really bother watching the 2003 fma right now?
FMA is worth a watch, especially if you enjoyed fmab.

It's not as great as fmab, but it's still great.

I've watched it 4 times(will rewatch again soon).

Just put it on your backlog and watch it next year.

im watching through Animefreak, are the ovas and movie out of order on there though?
I was goign to download but can only find the 40 gig blu ray rips

Just go at your own pace. I'm "rewatching" it. I'm on episode 44. Only 701 episodes to go.

I love case closed and have seen a lot of episodes but the truly must watch episodes are arcs involving the black organization. That's where the real plot progression is. It's a good show to watch at a slow pace since each episode isn't always relevant to the main plot. I really like the movies as well. The manga is 900 chapters in so I'm hoping soon we get an extended black organization arc to really push things forward rather than a few short ones. The last really long one was the clash of red and black I think

This, except I love it so much that I managed to watch the first 100 episodes I think before it just felt like too much. Plus, like someone mentioned, the actual plot development is few and far between, so it feels like a waste to watch every episode.

If I could find a list with every story-advancing episode on it, I'd absolutely pick it back up and marathon it, with an occasional few one-shot mysteries being watched along the way as well.

Jimmy Kudo the gawd :pimp:

I've found a list of story advancing episodes and black organization arcs in the past. When I get home from work I'll find it and post it
