You're generally paying for the stones.

In other jacob watches like the asstronomia or the buggati you're paying for the craftsmanship, design, etc.

At the end of the day they're fun to look at but terrible to own

yeah I doubt there is a $10,000 stoneless Pristine watch but I doubt movements from your solid value Rolex, AP etc sell for a lot in normal economic conditions . I Think the value in real Swiss time pieces is in the companies themselves, stuff like advertising I guess.

Aight, so my angel hunt is over for now. Just copped a 14k white gold, 14 gram, .7ct natural Diamond angel, vs/si G color diamonds. Went with itshot’s website. It’s one of the Luxerman joints. I linked a couple runner ups down below, for anybody still looking. I just ordered it today, talked to a representative earlier to get a lil discount, said it should ship later today.
