the disrespect to loyal fans or even bonafide Nike cultists is unreal. If I can't access what you're showcasing, why even show me. What does Nike gain from these ridiculous tactics?!

Please excuse my frustration, I think I'm still pissed about the OONW. Even that black/maroon/yellowish color is real nice..but low and behold...nothing for the people. I understand King James is their marquee athlete, lifetime athletes yada yada...but I thought companies wanted people to emulate him, be like him, wear what he wears..that's how you get $$$. But here we are, no advertising, no publicity just showering the internet for vague details while LBJ just churns out whatever color he wants. Seeing him in a colorway I can't get isn't going to make me buy a color I don't want...maybe some other jabroni, but not I.

I'd say I'm brand loyal, but sometimes, Nike's strategy or methods of application are questionable.

i thought the PE's always helped the NikeID business. You couldnt match a PE to a T, but it could def get inspiration from the colorways.

But with no ID yet(or any in sight) I don't know why they keep dangling a carrot in front of us that we can never reach.

Three colorways of the Nike LeBron 14 have been released in the U.S. However, the limited and popular at resale “Out of Nowhere” edition means that if you saw any on the streets / courts it was either the Chasedown or the BHM edition. There are two more styles waiting to drop this month… “Time to Shine” and “University Red”. This means that the whole season will probably end with 5 styles and hopefully some new ones for the Playoffs. That’s far from the usual volume for the Nike LeBron series.

Still… five is better than zero. That’s how many pairs of the LEBRON XIV dropped in Europe so far. I’ve been in contact with NDC Europe and they initally gave me a couple of launch dates, which didn’t pan out, and now they have no idea WHEN or IF fans will finally get a chance to experience the 14’s.

It’s really sad. I understand the delays and all, but frankly Nike doesn’t even seem to care to explain this situation. In general even in the U.S. there’s zero marketing assocaited with the LeBron 14 on Nike’s part. No commercials. No interviews. No media events. No design cues. No technical aspects. Nada. As if the shoe didn’t even exist.

LeBron James is doing some serious damage this season, his on-court PEs are sick. Too bad Nike decied to tank this year.

Check out one of the upcoming colorways. Nike played it safe and gave us a plain University Red edition. At least LBJ wore this 2 times. The shoe drops on March 25th, however, it’s been already postponed once so you never know

But then again, these were once announced for the first week of March and I'm still hooping in hyperdunks, get me?

The KD 9 elites drop tomorrow, so I might just get them and if they suck then I'll get the lebrons when they drop.

The scale back is refreshing as is the toning down of the nonsensical colours. That said, would it hurt them to drop some Navy, Black/Red or similar colourways?

Nike Basketball was never doing well in Europe to begin with. With the US taking a big hit, I wouldn't be surprised if the European retailers simply don't place orders for the product.

Nike on the other hand should offer European consumers the chance to purchase directly from them. Why not offer the product on their Nike Europe websites and ship the product directly from their distribution centers?

The business model of having to sell product at brick & motar retailers only is extremely flawed.

I agree. They can easily satiate both the crowd who wants loud colors and the crowd that wants monotone colorways.

As I said, I believe it is great that Nike is back to basics with the Lebron sig line. That all yellow with crimson and grey hits is my fav so far.

I heard something in here that the orignal deisgn of the LeBron 14 had vapormax?? Man if he went back to full air bags its gonna bring me back to 09-11. 

Also, i just dont know why Nike is handling releases like this so poorly. Hes a LIFETIME athlete. Your telling me you gave one man a couple billion not to even have steady releases???

Nike is always dropping the ball with something. No all star CWs, 1 basic CW every 2 months, no Nike ID, no PEs that release. Even the 13 had a few PEs that released.
