After testing out the 135L in the camera store, the IQ doesn't justify the $800 more I would've had to pay.

Hey guys, great photos, quick questions:

I'm planning to take my xsi w/ 18-55 kit to the Bahamas in late May and just wondering how should I protect it against sand/water mist, beach variants, etc?

Also, any tips while taking beach photos?

Thanks

Messing around with my Canon T2i for the first time, just took some shots around the home.

emDeff nice Easter eggs picture almost took one myself but just got overwhelmed with filling each one with candy.

Def a noob question but is there anything wrong with getting a slr "STYLE" camera as a starter camera instead of investing the big bucks ito say a t2i or t3i.

also are the lenses also interchangeable on slr style cameras or are they all fixed lenses? Thanks for the help

What is a "slr STYLE camera"?

You talking about cameras like this?

Seeing how this is almost $500, just save a little more and get a T2i. Lenses are what makes a clear photo, so you want something that you can swap them adn those do not do that.

Naw not that much more like a Fujifilm s4000a I found one for about 350, and for the other nt'er its a camera that uses a different viewfinder then the pentaprism one the slr uses because these are made without a mirror

Scratch that now im looking at the Pentax K-r DSLR camera excellent reviews. This will be my first camera I look forward to sharing my beginner shots

Curious to what you guys think of this... Probably extra vanilla in terms of photography but it was one of the more 'artsy' pics I took borrowing my uncles Canon Xs on my trip to Austria and Germany last week...

This joint worth being proud of?

I was basically just trying to stay on manual mode and use ISO changing to get lighting right the whole trip... Ended up with 700 photos.
