What is the cheapest possible dslr? My little sister who is like 14 or 15 really wants to get into photography and she definitely wants to start messing around with a low end kinda camera but something that has replaceable lenses.

HELP!

Hmm. A Canon T2i or Nikon D3100. I think the Nikon D3200 is coming out later this year. I think she will love these.

Get the Canon 100mm 2.8. If you have the money, get the L version. The Canon 100mm is good for macro and portraits

I have to see sample pics from the D800 but so far, I am kind of dissapointed. Yes it is a 36mp camera but I thought they would at least get the ISO to match up to the Mark 2s standards. And isn't the price way more then when the D700 came out?
