The Official Photography Thread - Vol. 3

Hizzle...
Sup homie! Love the pics. Was just at the Graffiti Warehouse on Saturday for a Meet & Greet. Great place to shoot. Going to miss it when I move to Florida next week.

Davinci...
Enjoy the lens. I was comparing my 35mm and 50mm last night and my preference is the 50mm. I do portraits so that extra length is better for me. I decided to toss the kit lens on the camera to check out the 18mm and the difference between the lenses are so evident once you compare them.
Thanks, bro. Yeah, Graffiti Alley is cool, albeit a little overdone for photo shoots but I still like it. Have fun in Florida, I'm sure you'll enjoy the weather much more than here.

any tips on building a site/portfolio? looking for some good ones too for some inspiration on making mine
Here is a link to some good ones. http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/07/10/35-beautiful-photography-websites/
I built my own and plan on completely rebranding next year since I moved. It's not as expensive as some may think. Domain name, hosting, and a template for something like wordpress is all you have to pay for, which may not be more than $75 total for the first year or two. If you need detail info message me.

You can use IPhoto if you use a Mac. It is limited and simple, but does the trick. If you want something with more detail then Final Cut Pro is the best route.

Thanks man, I shoot with a 60D, couple lenses. Today was mostly my 55-250 and my 50mm

When you refer to process, you mean as far as setting up shoots?

^^^^Super sick my dude. Wish that one shadow was gone but overall nice. A lot of touching up though?
I agree. This is a nice shot. Great job with the retouching without overprocessing. I would love to see a before and after comparison. The shadow is a bit distracting. I try and stay away from posing models straight on but this model can pull it off. :smokin
